Rodeo Houston Internship - Houston Community Coalition
I worked as an intern for the community coalition, creating communications and advocacy materials and developing the message of the new 501(c)4 Nonprofit that supports the four pillars of the Houston Rodeo. Through my work with the coalition I learned a lot about nonprofits and creating a cohesive advocacy message that is meant to promote the organization.
2025 Southwestern Cattleraisers Confrence
I attended the Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Conference to network and further my knowledge of the cattle industry. During this conference, I attended the Texas Cattlewomen's meeting, where we discussed issues concerning chapters across Texas. I also attended speaker events about new technologies, new land and cattle management practices, and marketing within agriculture.
Texas Tech Cattlewomen's Social Media Coordinator
I was elected as the 2025 Social Media Coordinator for the Tech Cattlewomen’s Chapter, creating content that furthers current news and issues in the cattle industry. Through interactive social media posts that encourage follower engagement, I have grown our socials by 25% in followers in 4 months. Through this position, I am responsible for the communications materials that come from our chapter, including flyers, posters, and meeting announcements
